The Amazon Kabanas survival tour its recommended for people interested in having maximum of contact with the nature, learning how to survive in the Amazon jungle always with safety. This Amazon jungle trip its done on the south of Manaus in the Juma reserve area, 100 kilometers away from the city. There are 2 or 3 nights of camping in the forest.

- Visit to the meeting of the waters (the point where the Negro river meet the Solimões river)

- Jungle trekking
- Canoeing in the flooded forest (from April to August when the water level is high)

Jungle tour done with minimum of 2 people and maximum of 8.
Day one: At 8am is the Transfer from the hotel to the Ceasa port. There a speed-boat is used to take the group to the meeting of the waters (the point where the Negro river and the Solimões river meet). From there the group is taken to the village of Careiro on the other side of the river. The entire Boat-ride takes about 20 minutes. At Careiro the journey continues by car for about 50 minutes to the River Paraná do Mamori. From there the last part of the journey is by speed-boat for about 45 minutes reaching the lodge around 11:30am.
At 2:30pm the activities begin, the group leaves by motorized canoe for piranha fishing, dolphin and bird watching and the sunset watching at about 6:30pm. After dinner cayman then the sunset is done. It’s an activity where the guide catches a cayman and gives technical information about it.
Day two: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys.
The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle.
Day three: from am to 11am a visit is made to a local family house to learn about their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest. At 3pm the group will leave for the forest: The Survival part of the jungle tour, moving to different camp sites as the tour develops.
Days four, five, six and seven: During the period of camping in the forest, there is also a chance to sleep at the house of locals.
The group spends these days camping in the forest. All the while the following activities are practiced: Spear fishing at night to catch their own food, trekking in different parts of the forest canoeing, camping in different areas and visiting the homes of locals. The highlight of this tour is the acquirement of survival techniques in the forest.
On the last day, the group returns to the lodge at about 11am. After lunch at 1:30pm the group returns to Manaus, arriving in the city at about 4:30pm.
