This is a fantastic jungle survival tour done on the Northwest of Manaus at the Anavilhanas Village exploring the jungle witha two nights camping and learning survival techniques in the Amazon jungle.

Full itinerary
Day 1:
At 8am the guests are picked up at their hotel and taken to the lodge and go to the cease port and getting, the guests are taken by speed boat to visit the meeting of the waters (the junction of the Solimoes and negro river), a wonderful natural phenomenon. After visit the meeting of the waters, the boat return to cease and from there the journey.
Continues bay car or Van passing over the bridge stretches over the Negro river and they taken to the Açutuba beach. From this point the journey continues, by speed boat for about 25 minutes to the Anavilhanas Village lodge. Getting to the lodge, welcome drink is served and the guests are taken to their accommodation. Before the lunch there is a free time and the guest can relax just walking around, having some drinks from the bar or even relaxing in the swimming pool available.
Lunch is served from 12pm to 1pm then there is some time to rest. At 2:30pm, the activities begin. The tour departure by motorized canoe for piranha fishing and for a little canoe trip through the Anavilhanas Archipelago which is formed by about 400 islands with chance to see some species of birds found in the region. The return to the lodge will be about 6:30pm after watching the sunset from the middle of the river.
Getting back to the lodge, at 7pm the dinner is served. After dinner the guest are free and can stay in the area of restaurants having some drinks from the little bar that exist there or even relaxing in the pool.
Day 2:
At 5:30am to 6:30am, a short canoe trip is made to see the nature in the morning. This includes watching the sunrise and species of birds found in the area. At 6:45am breakfast is served and from 7:40am to 11:30am jungle trekking is done. On the occasion you guide explains about the forest, about medicinal plants found, also a chance to see tarantulas, other animals or insects.
NOTE: The swimming pool its always available for the guests in general on their free time before or after the activities.
At 2:30pm the group departure on a boat trip that takes them to the other side of the Rio Negro to visit to the monkey island, to swim with the dolphins and the cayman (alligator) spotting after it gets dark. After the alligator spotting the group will return to the lodge. 7:30pm after getting back to the lodge the dinner will be served.
Day 3:
Breakfast its always begins at 6:40am and about 9am, the group are taken to visit an indigenous village. Getting there, they are going to watch the Indian ritual (dancing) and during this presentation, the chief of the tribe will be explaining about the mean of each dance and the tour guide will be translating to the guests. During the presentation its allowed pictures and videos. Finishing this presentation, the guests have chance to buy souvenirs – handcraft directly from the tribe.
Finishing this activity, the guests are taken back to the lodge getting free time before the lunch, with each guest using this time way they want.
In the afternoon at 3pm the group departure to camp two nights in the forest and the accommodation during the period of camping will be in hammock with mosquito nets supplied the lodge. While the two nights camping in the forest.
Day 4 and 5:
During the camping, the group will learn some survival techniques how to survive in the forest, how to find water and food. They also will learn about the night life in the forest and will be doing more trekking in the forest. The chance to see animals during the caping its higher as there will be a native guide from the region together with the bilingual guide who knows very well the area and also for safety reasons. During the period of camping, all the meals are taken and made by the group, that’s includes the tour guides together with the guests. The water used during the tour is from the creeks and little channels in the forest but we do use chlorine to treat the drinking water.
There is a short night trekking, but for this its necessary to have long pants and trekking boots. On the last day the group will return to the lodge arriving there about 11am.
Getting back to the lodge, there is free time and the guests are free to decide how to use this time, they can just use it relaxing in their room at the lodge, having some drinks at the bar or even in the swimming pool.
12pm lunch is served. At 2pm begins the journey back to the city of Manaus with the guest getting back to their hotel about 4pm to 4:3pm depending on the location of their hotel.
If the water level its high during the period that the tour will be done, we are going to include automatically the canoeing (paddling) through the creeks and flooded areas of the region. So, this will be included and done without any extra cost.
