Amazon Native 4D/3N

The Amazon native is a package made for people interested in discovering the Amazon forest in an authentic way such as the natives do. On this tour it is possible to have more contact with nature. This is a four days tour and during this tour, each night will be at a diferente place. The first night is at the lodge and the other two nights are spent camping out with one night in the forest and one night at the local people house. The activities of this package are the same ones done as in other packages with great chances of exploring the jungle in an authentic way.

See the meeting of the Waters, piranha fishing, spear fishing at night, dolphin watching, sunrise and sunset watching, jungle trekking, cayman spotting in the evening and visiting the local people. In the rainy season from (from April to August), it is possible to do canoeing in the flooded forest and in small channels (creeks).

Trip Itinerary

Day One: At 8am is the transfer from the hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat is used to take the group to the meeting of the waters, the place where the Negro river and the Solimões river meet. From there the group goes to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river. Geeting there the journey continues by car or by van for about an hour to the Paraná do Mamori River. From there another speed-boat takes the group to the lodge arriving there at about 11;30am.

At 2:30pm, the activities begin. The group leaves by canoe to do the dolphin watching, bird watching, piranha fishing, and sunset watching about 6:30pm. After dinner cayman spotting it is done by canoe.

Day two: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys.

In the afternoon at 3pm, the group leaves the lodge to spend the night in the forest. There they have more opportunity to learn about the forest and to learn some survival techniques.

Day Three: In the morning after breakfast, canoeing is done in the flooded forest. Here there are more chances of learning about the flora and fauna. In the afternoon around 3pm, the group then leaves the camp site to go to a house of one of the natives to spend the night there. 

Day Four: The breakfast will be at the local house and then from 8am to 11am they will visit another house of a local family or at the same house they will learn about the life of these people, will visit their plantation and will learn a little more of their custom. The group will also have chance to buy handicraft made by the local people. After learning about the local people, the group returns to the lodge and at 1:30pm they begin the journey back to Manaus getting in the city at about 4:30pm.
